Soccer and Track & Field Stadium

North Texas opened its Soccer and Track & Field Stadium in spring, 2019.

Located next to the Waranch Tennis Complex in the Mean Green Village, construction began in October 2017. The facility was designed by Brown, Reynolds and Watford Architects and the general contractor was Pogue Construction, which built the Greek Life Center on UNT campus and Allen High School football's Eagle Stadium.

The new facility has a 14,000-square foot fieldhouse, a sand-based soccer field, an eight-lane track, facilities for field events and seating for approximately 1,500, which includes some covered seating and chair-back seats. The stadium includes new coaches' offices, locker rooms, a team-meeting area and a student-athlete lounge.

Directions to the University of North Texas

From Dallas:

• Go North on I-35 East to Denton.
• Exit number 466B North Texas Boulevard, and turn north toward the campus.

From Fort Worth:

• Go North on I-35 West Denton. Follow I-35/Dallas signs.
• Exit number 466B North Texas Boulevard, and turn north toward the campus.

From Austin:

• Go Northeast on I-35 to I-35W.
• Go North on I-35W to Denton.
• Follow I-35/E Dallas signs.
• Exit North Texas Boulevard, and turn north toward the campus.

From Oklahoma City:

• Go East on I-40 to I-35.
• Go South on I-35 to Denton.
• Exit North Texas Boulevard, and turn north toward the campus.

From Shreveport, LA:

• Go West on I-20 to Texas.
• Continue on I-20 to US 80.
• Go West on US 80 to I-635.
• Go Northwest on I-635 to I-35E.
• Go North on I-35E to Denton.
• Exit North Texas Boulevard, and turn north toward the campus.

Once in Denton:

Turn right on Eagle Drive and immediately left into the circle drive in front of Gateway Center and stop at the information booth for a visitors parking pass.
