John Hedlund Mean Green Soccer Camps
Overnight Camps-2012
(For Boys and Girls Ages 9-16)

Camp Description
Our camp is dedicated to developing players to their full potential by providing them with a sound foundation of soccer skills. Each morning campers will complete a series of skill stations emphasizing on individual technical skills. In the afternoon sessions, the coaches will concentrate on a small sided games playing indoor soccer. The campers will also train with the speed and agility coach who works with UNT Women’s Soccer Team. Competitive matches will be played every evening to complete the developmental process which parents and coaches are welcome to attend. I addition, campers receive three meals a day, camp T-shirt, insurance and medical staff. Campers will group according to age and ability.

GOALKEEPER TRAINING
Goalkeeper training will conducted in each session of all camps by the University of North Texas goalkeeper coach. Training will stress physical conditioning, tactical maneuvers. Mental aspects and techniques of the position are also major components of camp.
